Nested Sets

Yonder Media anyway you can post a little more if you got this working, as i really could use it for my current project.

I have used multiple category fields (and each named appropriately) when I wanted to created multiple nesting schemas on a table's data. The idea of adding nesting to other field types is intriguing, at least initially.  I don't how much added value it provides beyond using an additional category field to represent that "new type."  Maybe.  Is there a scenario that demonstrates why a new nested type solves a problem better than a second category field?
