How to get a decimal field to default to an empty value? was created by Steven Fung
If I create a DECIMAL(5,4) field then the default value in the admin form is "0.0000".
Does anyone know how I can get this to default to an empty value instead? I can do this overriding the back end code but wondering if there's an option in the creator interface that will let me do this more easily?

Hello Steven,
There are some recent changes on the J4 version of component-creator for the way that values are stored.
If you are a premium member please create a support request to check your component and tell you if that is possible to set the empty value by default.
