There should be option for create categories.

Component Creator is very handy when you are creating any listing component. But most of the time you need Categories in listing components to categorize the different products() or business listings etc. Like for a real estate listing i wanted to create two categories like Commercial and residential but it doesn't provide this facilities.

This is ver important feature to make this component creator more successful and popular among joomla users.

yes please... There is the ability to add in a Categories fields. For some reason, I was expecting to be able to create a blank view and for some functionality to then make it a categories view. I notice that my categories are stored in the main joomla core categories table... so, is there any way to just use the existing core com_content component but tell it to look for categories from my component rather than com_content ??? Seems silly to re-code the whole lot for each component ??
