Auto increment field

I would like to have the possibility to create a auto-increment field

you can to create the auto increment field through mysql. But the Component Creator alread offer "id" field automaticaly.

thanks for the tip. i'll try. But: if it is that easy, then how diffcult is it really to add this feature to Compnent Creator? A simple addition which would help many customers.

And yes, the ID field is auto increment, but I can think af numerous applications where you would want to use more/other fields with auto increment as well.I think it's really needed.

the field "id" created automatically by Component Creator already is auto-increment. Then, you can rename this field when create table. But even better is to keep the name id as standard for all primary key fields of all tables ok
