Field typ 'file' was created by Roger Abt
Hi
In a form, for a file upload I need the field type 'field'.
Does CC not support this kind of field type although it is a 'native'/standard field type in Joomla?

Hi Roger,
Yes, Component Creator (CC) supports the `file` field type and other native Joomla field types. You should be able to select it directly when setting up fields for your form. If you encounter any issues, they might be related to specific settings or configurations, but CC indeed supports `file` and other standard field types.
Let me know if you need further assistance!

Hi
Thank you.
Ok, I saw it in the standard table fields, but I need it in a subform field, and it seems that there are some types missing (file, filelist, folderlist, imagelist....)
Are they not available in a subform?
Thank you.

Hi,
You're correct. Currently, a few fields, such as a file, file list, folder list, and image list, are missing in the subform fields. However, we want to let you know that adding the file type field is on our priority list, and we’re working to include it in future updates.
Thank you for your patience, and please feel free to reach out if you have any more questions or need further assistance!

Hi
Thanks for the clarification.
I'm re-create a extension for J-4/5.
The original for J-3 was also based on CC, and back in those days (2017, so seven years ago!) I too have to implement that field by my own. Hm...
Anyway, thank you and regards
Roger
