[solved] Front edition not getting the entry ID was created by Adrien Roussel
Hello
Everything works great in the BE.
In the front, almost everything does.
Except when I try to edit a previously added entry, the edition form is actually an 'Add' form because the entry ID is empty.
I remember having the same problem with another component I created from here few months ago.
So I can confirm this issue again.
I'll have a look in my previous component on how I addressed it.
Thanks and congrats anyway for this great tool !

We are seeing an issue with your component due to the fact that you have created a table that has "com_" in the name. This is stripped by Joomla and is causing issues. Please try to rename and see if this fixes the issue.
We will be adding a filter preventing adding tables with "illegal" names in the near future.

Hello thanks for your reply , yes but the issue here was with the other component.
I'll do more testing and eport if I still think this is an issue with the creator.
Thanks for your help

The issue is that you have created a table with a field that is a foreign key to the same table and made that field required.
So you are saying "You have to pick an entry from this list" but there is nothing in the list and you can not add anything to the list because it requires you to add something to the list first.
Inception.
The solution is to build the component without the required. Add at least one entry, then rebuild the component with the required and install on top. But if you delete all items you will be stuck again.

Thanks for your help.
I finally solved it, stupid me. It is because the menu required items were not created.
