Hello,
In a composer I use a DATETIME field.
The choice works beine, The value saved in the table is always 0000-00-00 00:00:00

Do you know why the value is not correctly recorded?

Best regards.

Eric

Hi Eric,

I am not sure I understand what you mean. I just created a component with a DATETIME field type and tested it on Joomla. If a date is not set, it will show 0000-00-00 00:00:00, but if a date is set it will save the selected date.

It could be that this issue is specific to your component. Could you please rebuild and reinstall your component? If the issue is not solved, you can ask us for support using our contact form and selecting Technical Support as reason. Here you can select the related component and we will have someone get back to you with more information as soon as possible.

Best regards,
Jamila Cisse

Hello,
Thank you for your reply.
I redid my component, the problem persists.
That's what I do:
1) In the component I set up a DATETIME. (Default value 000-00-00 00:00:00)
2) I generate the component.
3) I install the component on the site.
4) When using I choose a date and time, it displays correctly.
5) I record.
6) In the table the value remains at the default value.

Best regards.

Eric
